Аccording to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 22, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 181,237 COVID-19 cases, 79,901 people recovered, 3,642 patients died. A total of 2,079,482 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method.

During the 24 hours, 2,884 new cases have been confirmed and 1,717 patients have recovered.

As of September 22, coronavirus disease was registered:

• Vinnytsia region – 5,377 cases;
• Volyn region – 7,031 cases;
• Dnipropetrovsk region – 4,218 cases;
• Donetsk region – 2,505 cases;
• Zhytomyr region – 5,121 cases;
• Zakarpattia region – 9,265 cases;
• Zaporizhia region – 3,034 cases;
• Ivano-Frankivsk region – 12,675 cases;
• Kirovohrad region – 1,005 cases;
• Kyiv – 20,028 cases;
• Kyiv region – 8,020 cases;
• Lviv region – 18,793 cases;
• Luhansk region - 767 cases;
• Mykolaiv region – 2,572 cases;
• Odesa region – 11,843 cases;
• Poltava region – 1,575 cases;
• Rivne region – 11,353 cases;
• Sumy region – 3,184;
• Ternopil region – 11,732;
• Kharkiv region – 15,505;
• Kherson region – 837;
• Khmelnytsky region – 4,937;
• Chernivtsi region – 13,304;
• Cherkasy region – 3,145;
• Chernihiv region – 3,411.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
