Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 12, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 11,057 (428 children out of this number, 564 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,509 persons, 198 patients died, 6,235 persons recovered. There have been conducted 77,149 testing (46,933 using the PCR method and 30,216 using the ELISA method).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 500,865 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 227,694 people recovered;
  • 9,145 people died;
  • 3,782,099 testing have been conducted.

The largest number of confirmed cases in the last 24 hours was registered in Kyiv city (931 cases), Zaporizhia region (799), Kyiv region (700), Odesa region (663 cases), Poltava region (624 cases).

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
