According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 13, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 54,133 COVID-19 cases, 26,503 people recovered, 1,398 patients died. During the 24 hours, 612 new cases have been confirmed.

The number of registered active cases as of July 13 is 26,232 people. The largest number of active patients per 100,000 population was registered in Chernivtsi (240.5), Lviv (231.3) and Zakarpattia (206.1) regions.

Now 3,808 people are undergoing inpatient treatment. There are 81 people out of this number having severe symptoms and undergoing treatment with the use of artificial lung ventilation machines. A total of 14,277 people needed hospitalization, 437 patients needed to undergo mechanical ventilation treatment.

In total 3,880 cases among children and 7,425 cases among healthcare workers were recorded. 39,856 patients have been undergoing outpatient treatment.

A total of 803,657 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method and 353,717 using ELISA method. During 24 hours, 6,976 samples were tested using PCR method.

As of July 13, coronavirus disease was registered:

• Volyn region – 3,071 cases;
• Dnipropetrovsk region – 1,144 cases;
• Donetsk region - 759 cases;
• Zhytomyr region – 1,542 cases;
• Zakarpattia region – 3,988 cases;
• Zaporizhia region – 622 cases;
• Ivano-Frankivsk region – 3,071 cases;
• Kirovohrad region - 674 cases;
• Kyiv – 6,238 cases;
• Kyiv region – 3,068 cases;
• Lviv region – 7,107 cases;
• Luhansk region - 93 cases;
• Mykolaiv region - 482 cases;
• Odesa region – 2,208 cases;
• Poltava region - 334 cases;
• Rivne region – 4,697 cases;
• Sumy region - 341;
• Ternopil region – 2,260;
• Kharkiv region – 2,677;
• Kherson region – 204;
• Khmelnytsky region - 908;
• Chernivtsi region – 5,161;
• Cherkasy region - 754;
• Chernihiv region - 608.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
