Today, 14 October, the terrorist country once again attacked the infrastructure of the Odesa port. As a result of the enemy attack, one person was killed and eight others were injured.
In addition, two civilian vessels, a grain storage facility, cranes, warehouses, machinery, buildings of the Sea Ports Authority branch, and cars were damaged.
This was stated by Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities and Territories Development.
“The enemy is once again reporting on alleged hits to military targets. In reality, the targets are the same: civilian vessels, grain storage facilities, terminals. The infrastructure that helps us ensure the world’s food security, which russia is once again putting at risk by levelling all norms of international law,” he said.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, this is the second time the Palau-flagged dry cargo vessel OPTIMA has been targeted. A week ago, the vessel was damaged by ballistic missiles. Then foreign crew members were injured.
