Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov met with Ukrainians and leaders of Ukrainian NGOs in Warsaw on 8 January.

During the meeting, the participants discussed assistance to Ukrainian citizens temporarily staying abroad due to the war and the role of NGOs in consolidating national unity.

In addition, Oleksiy Chernyshov presented the initiatives of the Ministry of National Unity, including unity hubs – spaces that will become centres of support, interaction and cooperation for Ukrainians abroad.

“Ukraine does not aim to forcefully return people or create artificial restrictions for this. Our goal is to create conditions that make returning a desirable choice, not a burden,” the Deputy Prime Minister stressed.

He also thanked the participants for the active dialogue and assured them that all the issues and proposals raised during the meeting would be considered.
