Oleh Nemchinov chaired a meeting of the Coordination Council for Public Administration Reform

The XXVII meeting of the Coordination Council for Public Administration Reform was held today.

The meeting was chaired by Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oleh Nemchinov. The event was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Kornienko, MPs of Ukraine, representatives of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the National Agency for Civil Service of Ukraine, the State Audit Service of Ukraine, the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine, NGOs and foreign partners.

The following issues were discussed during the meeting:

  • strengthening cooperation with the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development in the area of public administration reform;
  • support of public administration reform in Ukraine by the European Union, in particular by extending the relevant technical assistance project;
  • implementation of the Public Administration Reform Strategy of Ukraine for 2022-2025 in 2022;
  • implementation in 2022 of the Strategy for Reforming the Public Finance Management System for 2022-2025;
  • status of implementation of the Law of Ukraine "On Administrative Procedure";
  • ensuring remuneration in the civil service (current state, prospects for reform), in particular for civil servants whose positions are related to the positions of reform specialists;
  • ensuring effective communication of the public administration reform implementation (plan).

Summing up the Coordination Council, the Report on the Implementation of the Public Administration Reform Strategy for 2022-2025 and the Report on the Implementation of the Public Finance Management System Reform Strategy for 2022-2025 were adopted, as well as the Communication Plan was supported.
