    Service of the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, posted 31 May 2019 15:13

    There have been announced tenders to hold informational campaigns, trainings and seminars for mass-media in the direction of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine. All the purchases are organized for the implementation of the Action Plans for raising awareness on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, approved by the Government in January 2019. The ordering customer is the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine.

    "Last year, the state launched the information campaigns about the EU and NATO for the first time and they were rather successful. This year, we are not going to reduce the pace and continue to work more actively. Therefore, we plan to hold more events, they will be larger and more diverse", said Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.

    The official also added that these campaigns are of particular importance since Russian propaganda and internal populist forces distort reality regarding European and Euro-Atlantic integration in the Ukrainian media environment. Therefore, it is critical to disseminate true information with the use of a simple and understandable language about the changes that are taking place and in store for us in the future in the context of Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed.

    "Having a positive experience in conducting previous campaigns, I encourage organizations specializing in communications to actively participate in procurement and have no fear to deal with the state as a customer", said Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze.

    The following tenders are announced:

    • Organizing and conducting trainings and seminars for media on combating hybrid threats within the framework of the NATO-Ukraine Platform for the Study of the Experience of Combating the Hybrid War;
    • Organizing and conducting an all-Ukrainian awareness-raising campaign on Ukraine's progress towards Euro-Atlantic integration, in particular, on the implementation of democratic reforms, the use of potential and practical assistance from NATO member states;
    • Organizing and conducting an information campaign to raise citizens' awareness of the results of reforms and institutional changes in Ukraine as part of the European integration process.
