New industrial park ROKYTNE ECO PARK included in the register

On 24 December, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision to include the industrial park ROKYTNE ECO PARK in the Register of Industrial (Manufacturing) Parks. The project will be implemented on the territory of the Rokytne settlement territorial community in Bila Tserkva district, Kyiv region. The initiator is LLC Rokytne Sugar Factory.

The total area of the industrial park is 10.2106 hectares. The development concept envisages the creation of approximately 400 new jobs in the processing industry. To develop the engineering-transport infrastructure and park facilities, it is planned to attract around UAH 540.4 million from various sources, namely the initiator’s own investments, funds from the managing company, state incentives, private financing, investments from future participants, and other entities.

An important feature of the project is the already established cooperation with partners: the initiator has signed an agreement on the creation and operation of the park with the managing company LLC TEO GREEN INVEST. In addition, under preliminary agreements, a future participant – the company Ukraine 2001 – plans to invest approximately UAH 467 million in developing its facilities within the park.

The ROKYTNE ECO PARK is planned to host enterprises in the following sectors:

• food production;
• processing of agricultural products;
• production of construction materials;
• alternative energy.

The creation of ROKYTNE ECO PARK will not only increase the investment attractiveness of Kyiv region but also provide local employment through the introduction of innovative and competitive technologies. The state supports such initiatives, as they contribute to regional development and increase revenues to local budgets,” noted Vitaliy Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.

Background

There are currently 116 objects in the Register of Industrial Parks. Their number is growing, indicating the interest of businesses and communities in creating modern production sites.

Industrial parks are a component of the investment element of the Made in Ukraine policy for developing Ukrainian manufacturers.
