Ministry of Education and Science: Large-scale program launched to expand use of the All-Ukrainian Online School
A large-scale project is launching in Ukraine to develop, promote and expand the use of the state digital education platform, the All-Ukrainian Online School (AUOS). Over the course of a year (from October 2026 to September 2027), 100,000 Ukrainian teachers will be trained in the practical use of the platform in the educational process.
The project is starting on the eve of winter, when, because of attacks on energy and education infrastructure, many educational institutions may be forced to switch temporarily to distance or blended learning.
Ukraine's education system is preparing for such scenarios in advance. One of the key state digital tools that make it possible to ensure continuity of learning regardless of external circumstances is the All-Ukrainian Online School.
The platform allows students to continue their studies regardless of where they are and how their school is operating, and gives teachers ready-made, high-quality digital content for organizing distance and blended learning.
"We must be ready for different scenarios for getting through the winter. War must not deprive Ukrainian children of access to quality education. That is why the state is developing digital solutions in advance that help schools keep working even in difficult conditions. The All-Ukrainian Online School is, in effect, a digital helping hand for the teacher, the student and the family, which makes it possible to keep the educational process going no matter where the child is and in what format their school is working today," said Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Andrii Butenko.
