    The Child Rights Protection Centre has been opened in Ukraine to counter russia’s crimes. The opening ceremony was attended by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin, Advisor and Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Daria Herasymchuk, Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets and other officials.

    The centre will work with children who have been victims or witnesses of crime. At the centre, the relevant specialists will receive information from children and their families, conduct medical examinations, provide necessary assistance, etc.

    The Bring Kids Back UA action plan was also presented at the event. This is a set of measures taken by the Ukrainian authorities, foreign governments and international organisations to protect the rights of young Ukrainians. Many foreign partners have already expressed their support and willingness to implement it.

    The Head of State thanked for the creation of the Centre and the development of the action plan. “The first step has been taken, 371 children are at home in Ukraine. We will do everything to bring them all back,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
