We simplify the procedures for shaping and changing state construction standards by making them as transparent and public as possible. We have accelerated the procedure - from 1.5 to 10 months. Also, from now on, the public both individuals and legal entities will be widely involved in this work. Deputy Prime Minister/ Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko announced, commenting on the adoption of the relevant government resolution.
"Alignment of state building norms with the European Union’s standards and optimization of the procedure and terms of their processing will enable these norms to be less regulated. A key focus on publicity and transparency. From now on, the technical task for the development of state construction norms will be shaped together with the public proposals. We also reduce the phasing of the development of the state construction codes that will allow to accelerate its revision and eliminate the corruption component", Hennadii Zubko stressed.
At present, 181 state construction norms are in force, of which 63 were adopted at the time of the Soviet Union. Since 2015, the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services has revised more than 50 state construction norms and made 526 amendments to the current ones.
