During a working visit to Brussels, at the NATO Headquarters, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak met with the Minister of National Defense of Canada Harjit Singh Sajjan.

During the conversation, Stepan Poltorak expressed his gratitude to the Canadian side for consistent support, advisory assistance and training of Ukrainian servicemen by Canadian instructors.

The parties discussed the main priorities and directions of the concentration of efforts to ensure the measures of the military-political dialogue.

Minister of National Defense of Canada Harjit Singh Sajjan invited the Minister of Defense of Ukraine to take part in the International Conference on Reforms in Ukraine, which will be held in Toronto.

"We will always be ready to consider any possibilities to assist Ukraine in defending its independence and territorial integrity. Our country, a powerful Ukrainian diaspora in Canada, always take seriously all the challenges facing Ukraine and support the people of Ukraine", said Harjit Singh Sajjan.
