Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development: G7 meeting at the level of transport ministers took place
At a special working session on cooperation with Ukraine, within the framework of the G7 Transport Ministers’ meeting in Milan (Italy), Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Oleksandr Kubrakov emphasised the need to restore the energy and transport sectors, as well as investment opportunities for international business.
“I am grateful to the Italian government for hosting the summit and for its constant attention to the issues of Ukraine’s recovery.
The joint work of international partners contributes not only to the defence capability of our country, but also to the formation of a security framework for all European nations.
At the same time, our task is to deepen the integration of the European private sector for Ukraine’s economic sustainability. To ensure transparent and accountable recovery management, our team has created a number of digital tools available to businesses, governmental and non-governmental organisations,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.
Oleksandr Kubrakov also held a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of the Italian government and the private sector to discuss the needs in the transport sector.
