  • Ministry of Finance: Under the program 5-7-9%, entrepreneurs received 26,800 affordable loans to the tune of UAH 70.9 billion

    Last week, 412 loans totaling UAH 1.17 billion were issued under the State Program Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%".

    In total, since the start of "5-7-9%" program, representatives of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have received 26,822 loans from authorized banks in the amount of UAH 70.9 billion.

    Of those:

    • UAH 8.47 billion - for investment purposes;
    • UAH 40.21 billion - in anti-crisis loans;
    • UAH 22.25 billion were issued as refinancing of previously received loans.

    One of the priorities of the Ministry of Finance is state support for the development MSMEs, which is carried out, inter alia, due to the program Affordable loans at 5-7-9% initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The draft State Budget for 2022 provides for UAH 3 billion (including an Affordable Mortgage at 7% program). This will allow providing support for the development of another 20,000 entrepreneurs.

    The Government Portal recently published the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of October 21, 2021, № 1106 "On Amendments to the Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 24, 2020, № 28 and № 29". The draft resolution was developed by the Ministry of Finance to attract even more participants to the state programs Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% and Affordable Mortgage at 7%. The decree also introduced a state financial leasing program for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

    The 5-7-9% program is implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, which has currently concluded cooperation agreements with 39 banks on interest compensation terms. The program also promotes the market of business lending services.
