NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and NATO Allies have confirmed the invitation to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba to take part in the meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers to be held on November 30 in Riga.

This became known following talks between the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the NATO Secretary General at the Alliance's headquarters in Brussels.

Dmytro Kuleba thanked Jens Stoltenberg and NATO allies for the invitation and noted that the invitation of the heads of Ukrainian and Georgian diplomacy is an important message of support.

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister welcomed the Allies' efforts to approve NATO's Strategic Concept at the Alliance's Summit in Madrid next June. He noted that in 2022 the 25th anniversary of the Charter on a Distinctive Partnership between Ukraine and NATO, which had been adopted in Madrid, would be celebrated.

The Minister praised the leadership of the Secretary General in the preparation of a new Strategic Concept. The head of Ukrainian diplomacy noted that Ukraine is using to the full extent the status of NATO partner with enhanced opportunities.

"NATO's partner status with enhanced opportunities has been a great success and a win-win story for Ukraine and the Alliance," the Minister said.

Dmytro Kuleba assured that Ukraine is committed to continuing its significant contribution to Allied Command Operations, NATO Response Force and Alliance training.
