Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture: Uniform rules approved for calculating fees for the registration of veterinary medicinal products

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the methodologies that will be used to calculate fees for services related to the registration of veterinary medicinal products. The relevant resolution was adopted on 15 July.

The approved methodologies establish uniform rules for calculating service fees. Based on these methodologies, the central executive authority will determine and approve the applicable fees.

The adoption of the document:

• introduces a single, transparent and standardised approach to calculating the cost of services;
• increases the transparency and economic justification of fee setting;
• improves the state regulatory framework for the registration of veterinary medicinal products;
• ensures predictable and transparent conditions for businesses while protecting their interests through clear rules for determining the cost of the relevant services.

When calculating service fees, account will be taken of direct labour costs, direct material costs, and allocated fixed manufacturing overheads.
