  • Ministry of Digital Transformation: International COVID certificates can be generated in Diia app

    From today, an international COVID vaccination certificate can now be generated in the Diia application. All that it takes is an electronic signature. The COVID certificate will be valid for 365 days.

    "Almost a million Ukrainians have already generated their international COVID certificates in the Diia application. A certificate can be generated on the Diiaportal. This way, Ukrainians who do not have an ID card or a foreign biometric passport or an Diia.Signature will be able to obtain a certificate and travel with it. After all, Ukrainian COVID certificates in Diiaare officially recognized by the EU," Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov said.

     The COVID certificate can be generated in a few clicks. A person needs to log in to the Diiaportal. Select the service "Generate COVID-certificate". Sign with a qualified electronic signature the application for a certificate, by which you authorize e-health system to transfer medical data for the COVID-certificate to the Diia app. To sign on the portal, one can use either Diia. Signature which you generated in the Diia application, or by any other electronic signature.

    After receiving your signature under the Notice of Consent to Provide Medical Data, the Diia app sends a request to the electronic healthcare system and a certificate is generated in PDF format. It can be printed out or be saved to the file on the mobile phone or other device and can be seen through the QR code on the screen.

Vaccination is the only way to protect yourself from a dangerous disease and leave severe restrictions in the past. Vaccination with two doses allows to get an international COVID certificate for a year, and this, in addition to protecting health, gives a bonus - the opportunity to travel to different countries amid pandemic," Minister of Health Viktor Liashko underscored.
