From now citizens can order delivery of a birth certificate by Ukrposhta. The service is available to all parents of newborns who receive the eBaby service. This is convenient and helps to avoid unnecessary social contacts.
During the year of the existence of eBaby service, more than 125,000 Ukrainians have already applied. 83% of parents register the birth of a child through the said service. From now citizens can get a birth certificate without visiting any institutions, and at the post office or courier delivery. The price is UAH 46 and 66, respectively. Payment in cash is made upon receipt of the order. Delivery time - up to 2 days within the region and up to 3 days within Ukraine from the moment of registration of the certificate in the department of state registration of acts of civil status.
"The goal of the Ministry of Digital Transformation is the comfort and safety of every Ukrainian from the first minutes of life. In October last year, we launched a comprehensive service eBaby and used it more than 125,000 Ukrainians. Today, together with our partners, we are launching the first delivery of government documents in the history of Ukraine and making services even more convenient for parents. From now on, you do not need to stand in queues, go to government agencies, the courier will deliver the birth certificate immediately to the door. The goal of the Ministry of Finance is to make all public services as fast and comfortable as possible," Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov stressed.
Moreover, the Ministry of Digital Transformation is launching a baby service for residents of the temporarily occupied territories. From now on, people can get a Ukrainian birth certificate if the child was born in Crimea or in the temporarily occupied districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
eBaby service encapsulates 9 services on one application for newborns. Among the main ones are registration of a child, registration of birth assistance, assistance for children from large families, etc. Receiving services on one application deprives citizens of visiting 11 institutions, filling out 37 documents, spending 30 hours on these visits and registration.
“Ukrposhta has been cooperating with the Ministry of Digital Transformation for a long time within the framework of expanding services on the Diia portal. The purpose of our partnership is to facilitate the access of Ukrainians to public services, especially in small settlements, where organizations other than Ukrposhta are not present.
