More than 50,000 private individuals were opened online at the Diia (Action) portal in 2020. Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov stated during a joint online briefing of the Ministry of Finance and the State Tax Service "New Digital Opportunities for Business in Ukraine".
"Together with the Tax Service, we have managed to launch online services for sole proprietors and limited liability companies. Today, the fastest business registration is available in Ukraine - in 15 minutes you can open a private individual business in the Diia portal without leaving home. More than 50,000 private individuals have already been registered online in 2020," said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
According to Mykhailo Fedorov, a year ago only 4-6% private entrepreneurs in Ukraine registered their business online. Currently, this figure is 50%. Business is actively switching online.
"We are taking decisive steps and becoming a leading country in the world, taking revolutionary steps in the field of digitalization of business services. Amid a pandemic, this allows to reduce social contacts and protect the health of Ukrainians," Mykhailo Fedorov commented.
In October, the Ministry of Digital Transformation launched the online registration of LLCs and made it easier - instead of 88 lines, only 46 lines remained in the application. One can register a business without leaving home: instead of 20 hours for paperwork - up to 30 minutes to apply online. Now several founders can register an LLC online. It was impossible to do that before. Among the innovations - the model statute is formed automatically during the registration of LLC on the Diia portal.
Today, the savings due to online business registration is UAH 17 million per year. Due to the use of the electronic format of registration, liquidation and change of data by private individuals Ukraine is expected to save up to UAH 255 million per year.
Besides, the Ministry of Digital Transformation continues to develop Diia.Business. This is a large-scale national business development project. The project has two components: the online portal Diia.Business and a network of business support centers Diia.Business. 39 types of free consultations are already available on the platform. Every Ukrainian citizen can get a free consultation on any issue related to starting and running a business. The user can get to the website and obtain live online consultations from experts not just answers.
In offline Diia.Business centers entrepreneurs can get a free consulting service from practitioners, attend educational events, test the product in a special pop-up area, rent space for business events. The first center Diia.Business has been working in Kharkiv, soon in November the second center in Mykolayiv will be opened. The next step is to launch such centers in Kyiv region and Cherkasy, and later all over the country.
