Nearly UAH 600 million has been allocated for the restoration of Kharkiv region. This decision was made at a Cabinet meeting on 11 June, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced.

“UAH 241 million will be directed towards the repair of Kharkiv Regional Clinical Hospital. Another UAH 357 million will be allocated for emergency restoration work on six multi-apartment buildings in the city of Kharkiv,” he emphasised.

According to Denys Shmyhal, in February this year, UAH 1 billion was allocated for related works in Kharkiv’s housing and utilities sector, and the Government will continue providing assistance moving forward.

“Supporting frontline regions remains a priority for us. We are constantly allocating additional resources to support these communities and our people who continue to live and work there,” the Prime Minister stressed.
