Government allocates UAH 1.1 billion for stable heat supply in Mykolaiv region and UAH 3.5 billion for eVidnovlennia programme: Denys Shmyhal
The Government has adopted several decisions aimed at supporting reconstruction programmes and projects. During a Cabinet meeting on 11 June, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that an additional UAH 3.5 billion has been allocated to the eVidnovlennia programme.
“These funds will enable the issuance of over 2,000 housing certificates for purchasing new homes and will finance the reconstruction of houses on private land for hundreds of families,” he stated.
According to the Head of Government, thanks to this state programme, more than 100,000 Ukrainian families have already received funds for repairs, reconstruction, or new housing. In particular, 18,000 certificates have been issued for purchasing new homes to replace those destroyed.
Another priority for reconstruction, alongside housing, is energy. The Government continues to build new generation capacity, enhance the protection of energy facilities, and carry out repairs.
Today, a decision was made to allocate UAH 1.1 billion for Mykolaiv region to ensure a stable heat supply during the upcoming heating season.
“The enemy constantly attacks Mykolaiv’s combined heat and power plant, so the Government is allocating funds for the construction of distributed thermal generation. This involves purchasing 18 modular boiler units with a total capacity of over 70 MW. This will ensure heating for homes in Mykolaiv,” Denys Shmyhal emphasised.
