Member countries of the International Energy Advisory Council under the Ministry of Energy helped Ukraine with equipment worth millions of euros, says German Galushchenko
Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko took part in the meeting of coordinators of the High-Level International Energy Advisory Council under the Ministry of Energy.
German Galushchenko stressed that following massive russian attacks on energy infrastructure facilities the situation in Ukraine's energy system remains difficult. At the same time, there is information about a possible resumption of shelling in the near future. Expected winter frosts may also complicate the overall situation.
"We effectively use the equipment provided by international partners to carry out restoration works and stabilize the system. We are grateful for this assistance. Ukraine has already received power equipment worth millions of euros. Our objective today is not only to use the equipment for rapid restoration works, but also to form a warehouse of equipment that may be urgently needed after the next shelling," he said.
The Minister thanked the international partners for round-the-clock communication and readiness to further coordinate cooperation to support the Ukrainian energy sector.
