  • Iryna Vereshchuk urged residents of temporarily occupied territories to leave

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk once again urged the residents of the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) to leave. She emphasized this on air of the United News national telethon.

Iryna Vereshchuk called on people not to take russian passports and move from the TOT for the controlled territory of Ukraine or third countries.

“Today’s paradigm of de-occupation implies a military way. We are not talking about years, we are talking about months. Forced passportization will do nothing for the occupiers. Of course, they are trying to make the life of Ukrainian citizens unbearable in terms of normal human existence. But all these efforts are in vain. Because de-occupation is coming soon,” the official said.

“I ask everyone: please evacuate. Men should leave the TOT to avoid being mobilized into the enemy army. Women and children should also leave so that they are not used as a human shield,” the Deputy Prime Minister summarized.
