Prime Minister stands for continuing the practice of using a transparent system of procurement of medicines

Ukraine needs to continue the practice offered by the Government that stipulates for  using a transparent system of procurement of medicines through international organizations, since it allows not only to save money and to buy high-quality medicines, but also to save life of patients with chronic or deadly illnesses that need regular intake of medication. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during the expanded meeting on providing citizens with medicinal preparations.

The attendees noted that the abolishment of procurement rules that have been existed for years and  have become only source of corruption allowed to save the lives of  thousands of people who had not previously had access to drugs for various reasons.

"Now we need a transparent procurement system in line with world standards of openness. The issue at stake is not only financial resources.  It is a matter of life", the Head of the Government underscored.
