Farmers can apply for interest-free loans of up to UAH 1 million to develop their businesses: applications open in the State Agrarian Register

From 2 June, the State Agrarian Register (SAR) will begin accepting applications from farming enterprises for financial support aimed at expanding production and diversifying business activities. Farmers will be able to receive interest-free loans of up to UAH 1 million for a term of up to five years, subject to guarantees ensuring the repayment of budget funds.

The programme is open to farming enterprises, including family farms operating without legal entity status, provided they are registered in the State Agrarian Register. Key eligibility requirements include the absence of tax arrears, bankruptcy proceedings or sanctions, and no business activity conducted in temporarily occupied territories.

“The funds can be used to purchase machinery and equipment, acquire livestock, construct and modernise production facilities, establish perennial plantations, develop agricultural cooperatives, improve irrigation and land reclamation systems, as well as support other production development activities,” said Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Denys Bashlyk.

Applications will be accepted until 2 July 2026.

Following the application period, a commission of the Ukrainian State Fund for Support of Farms will review the submitted documents and select the successful applicants. Farmers will be notified of the results through the State Agrarian Register, and the Fund will conclude financial support agreements with the selected recipients.
