Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk briefed on the results of the evacuation and the actions of humanitarian corridors on March 18.
Of the 9 humanitarian corridors, 7 were opened today. A total of 9,145 people were evacuated with their help.
Donetsk region
Almost 5,000 people, including more than 1,100 children, arrived in Zaporizhya from Mariupol. Berdyansk city managed to deliver fuel for refueling Mariupol residents moving along the humanitarian corridor in their own cars.
Addresses for refuelling in Berdyansk: st. Kabelshchykiv 132a and street Melitopol highway 87b. Also, 500 residents of Mariupol were taken by bus to Berdyansk. According to the plans, 10 buses will arrive in Berdyansk tomorrow - they will pick up Mariupol residents.
Sumy region
More than 4,000 people have been evacuated in the region. In particular, almost 3,300 people were evacuated from the city of Sumy. And also - from Trostyanets, from the city of Lebedyn, from Konotop, from the villages of Krasnopillya and Velyka Pisarivka.
Kharkiv region
On the agreed route, the work of corridors for the delivery of humanitarian aid to the cities of Balakleya and Izyum was disrupted again today due to the occupier's shelling.
"Tomorrow we are working out routes for the delivery of humanitarian aid to the cities of Kherson, Kharkiv and Luhansk regions. We are also preparing humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of people from the cities of Kyiv region, "Iryna Vereshchuk spoke about her plans for March 19.
