All schools must be fully prepared by September 1
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine reviewed the state of preparation of educational institutions for the new academic year. During the Government meeting, the Minister of Education and Science presented a report on readiness.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi emphasized that all schools must be fully prepared by September 1.
“Our top priority is the safety of children and teachers. We continue building shelters and providing communities with school buses,” said the Prime Minister.
Despite russian attacks on printing houses and warehouses, students of all grades must be supplied with textbooks in full.
Starting September 1, teachers’ salaries will increase by 20%, student scholarships will be doubled, and more than 3 million schoolchildren will receive free meals.
The Prime Minister instructed that all preparatory measures be completed before the start of the school year and that any issues requiring attention be resolved.
“All issues that still require refinement must be finally settled before the beginning of the academic year,” stressed Sergii Koretskyi.
