Dnipro to receive UAH 175 million for the restoration of 8 damaged apartment buildings, says Oleksii Kuleba

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a decision to allocate UAH 175.4 million from the Fund for Eliminating the Consequences of Armed Aggression to restore eight apartment buildings in Dnipro that were damaged by russian shelling.

The funds will be used to carry out major repairs. The allocated funding will enable the restoration of 1,095 apartments and ensure that 1,671 residents can return to their homes.

“Housing restoration is one of the Government’s key priorities. Behind every such project are people who—due to russian aggression—have lost their homes. We are providing the necessary assistance to those affected and allocating financial support for the restoration of housing infrastructure. Thanks to this decision, more than a thousand residents of Dnipro will be able to return to their own apartments,” said Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities and Territoriaes Development.

Please note that citizens whose homes have been destroyed or damaged can take advantage of the state compensation program “eVidnolennia.” Under this program, Ukrainians have been receiving payments for nearly three years to repair homes damaged as a result of russian aggression or to purchase a new home to replace one that was destroyed.
