Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba to pay visits to Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands

On May 11-18, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba will pay trips to participate in G7 and EU events and hold talks with the leadership of Germany and the Netherlands to coordinate further military, financial and humanitarian support to Ukraine and ensure our country's progress towards EU membership.

On May 11-14 in Berlin, the Minister is scheduled to hold meetings with members of the German Government and members of the Bundestag to discuss further arms supplies to Ukraine, extending sanctions against russia, promotion of Ukraine's EU membership, trade intensification and postwar development of our state.

On May 13, Dmytro Kuleba will take part in a meeting of G7 foreign ministers in Lübeck, where he will voice practical proposals for implementing the agreements reached during the G7 video conference with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on May 8.

On May 15-16, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine will visit Brussels, where he is to take part in a meeting of the European Council on Foreign Relations as a special guest. The key topics are to be the future of Europe and Ukraine's role in it, the introduction of the sixth package of EU sanctions against russia, which should include an embargo on russian oil, bringing russia to justice for its crimes in Ukraine, giving our country an EU candidate status.

Dmytro Kuleba will also hold talks with the leadership of the European Commission on supporting the Ukrainian economy, rebuilding the destroyed infrastructure and increasing humanitarian aid.

On May 17-18, the Minister is to visit The Hague, where he shall meet with members of the government and parliament to develop the dialogue between the leaders of Ukraine and the Netherlands. The parties will coordinate steps to enhance our country's defense capabilities, expand sanctions against russia and strengthen the European Union.

During his visit to the Netherlands, Dmytro Kuleba will also pay special attention to the promotion of Ukraine's lawsuits against russia in international courts in order to bring russia to justice for its crimes against Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
