Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal had his first telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of France Gabriel Attal. During the conversation, which took place on 25 January, Denys Shmyhal congratulated Gabriel Attal on his appointment and the formation of the new Government.
"We look forward to continuing our fruitful cooperation. First of all, in the military sphere. We are grateful for the delivery of an additional batch of SCALP missiles, the establishment of an "artillery coalition" and the increase in the supply of artillery systems and shells," the Prime Minister of Ukraine said.
The Heads of Government discussed the implementation of reforms and European integration. Gabriel Attal praised Ukraine's progress and assured that France supports Ukraine Facility programme worth EUR 50 billion.
The parties paid special attention to the issues of food security and Ukraine's recovery. According to Denys Shmyhal, the countries are working on the confiscation of russian assets.
In addition, Ukraine and France are interested in cooperation in demining, transport and energy sectors.
The Head of the Ukrainian Government thanked France for its significant contribution to the comprehensive support of Ukraine in its fight against the russian invader.
