On June 14, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal held a conversation with Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo.
The Head of the Ukrainian Government thanked his counterpart for the EUR 3.5 million allocated by Belgium to help in the aftermath of the russian terrorist attack on the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant. The aid includes, among other things, power generators, medical equipment, medicines, drinking water storage tanks, tents, etc.
The parties also addressed the humanitarian and environmental effects of the disaster and the need to strengthen sanctions against the aggressor.
"Together with our partners, we are working to make it impossible for russia to manufacture missiles," the Head of the Ukrainian Government stressed.
The Prime Ministers coordinated Ukraine's needs to enhance the protection of its skies. They also discussed Ukraine's preparations for the Recovery Conference in London.
In addition, Denys Shmyhal stressed that Ukraine appreciated Belgium's willingness to cooperate in the restoration of energy infrastructure.
