Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, during a working visit to Brussels on September 5, held a meeting with the Vice-President of the European Commission for Interinstitutional Relations and Foresight, Maroš Šefčovič.

The Prime Minister thanked the European Commission for its consistent policy of sanctions pressure on the aggressor and the approval of the 7th package of sanctions.
"Among our further priorities is the introduction of a full energy embargo against russia. Such measures have already been developed by the Yermak-McFaul Expert Group and proposed to include in the roadmap," said Denys Shmyhal.
The Head of the Ukrainian Government also raised the issue of increasing the possibilities of exporting electricity from Ukraine to the EU and reducing the dependence of European countries on russian energy carriers.
