Denys Shmyhal: EUR 250 million received by the Ukraine Energy Support Fund from Germany

An additional contribution of EUR 250 million from Germany has already been transferred to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund. First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal told.

According to him, the partners announced this additional contribution yesterday during the Ukrainian-German Business Forum held in Kyiv, chaired by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Federal Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz. The funds were credited to the Fund today.

"Germany remains the Fund's largest donor. The total volume of German aid provided to our energy infrastructure now stands at nearly EUR 807 million. We are grateful to Friedrich Merz and Germany's Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, Katherina Reiche, for their consistent support of our energy sector," Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
