A clear vision of the problem and the effective use of available funding is now coming to the fore of the development of the country and each particular region. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said on air of the Sigma TV channel in Mariupol.
Today the Head of Government visited Mariupol. Within the framework of the trip, he discussed the project of assistance to School №26, in which the youngest director in Ukraine works, visited a reconstructed child diagnostic health center at the expense of the state and local budgets that will be opened the next day, April 19. The PM also visited one of the facilities of the enterprise "Water of Donbas", which implements a joint Ukrainian-French program to renovate the water supply of Mariupol. This problem has been one of the most acute for a large industrial city for decades.
The Head of Government stressed that any reform is being implemented better when central and local authorities combine their efforts. Mariupol in this context is among the showcase cities. The city receives state budget funds for the implementation of large-scale programs and builds up its local opportunities through the reform of decentralization.
"The budget of development of Mariupol has grown tenfold and now amounts to UAH 1.5 billion. This is a huge resource. And it is good that the municipal authorities see the future of the city in an appropriate way. This makes it possible to develop properly", said Volodymyr Groysman.
