The State Migration Service of Ukraine (SMSU) will facilitate the citizens of Ukraine to exercise their right to vote, having a passport of a citizen of Ukraine (ID-passport) in their hands. Therefore, in order to ensure the issuance of ID-passports that have been delivered to the territorial units of the State Migration Service throughout Ukraine, on the eve and the day of the second round of elections on April 20 and 21, 2019, there will be organized the shifts of the employees of the territorial bodies and offices of the SMSU. Passport service centers will also work for citizens.

The Migration Service appealed to the SE Ukraine Printing and Publishing with a proposal to consider the possibility of urgent manufacturing and personalization of ID-passports for their subsequent prompt delivery to territorial bodies and offices of the SMSU, like it was provided during the first round of the presidential elections in Ukraine on March 31.

Besides, in order to ensure the timely issuance of ID-passports to the citizens of Ukraine, the Migration Service appealed to the Centers for the Administrative Services Provision (CASPs) with a proposal to consider the possibility of organizing work on issuing passports on the eve and on the day of second round of election of the President of Ukraine. According to the available information, most of the CASPs have confirmed their intention to work on the issuance of documents on the election day.
