Volodymyr Kistion: We are planning to hold first interviews with potential partners of Mahistralni Hazoprovody Ukrainy PJSC February 21-22

The Working Group which the Government of Ukraine authorized to hold preliminary consultations with international operators of main gas transmission systems, those being interested to participate in the management of the gas transmission system of Ukraine, had their first meeting.

The participants considered first proposals submitted to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine by international partners among which are Belgium, France, Holland, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Italy, Romania, Greece and Germany.

"These are 7 companies, two of which represent well known gas consortia in Europe. It was decided on February 21-22 to hold first interviews. In the meantime, till March 1, 2018, the Ministry of Energy and Coal is open for proposals submitted from other companies, that, for some reason, failed to submit them by February 1," said Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Chairman of the Working Group, Volodymyr Kistion.
