In 2018, local authorities
should wind up the implementation
of all projects
kicked off in previous periods.
The issues at stake are
kindergartens, new hub schools, hospitals,
clinics, centers for administrative services provision (CASPs), security centers, local infrastructure, etc. The abovementioned projects are being
financed by state programs. This statement was issued by
Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development,
Construction, Housing and Utilities of
Ukraine Hennadii Zubko during the
meeting with the heads of
Regional State Administrations.
"The regions
received significant state financial support for 2018. The numbers are
as follows: 6 billion hryvnias is allocated to the
State Fund for Regional Development,
a subvention for rural medicine is 5 billion hryvnias, a subvention for the development
of infrastructure of united communities
makes up 1.9 billion hryvnias, an educational subvention for the New
Ukrainian school is 1 billion hryvnias, the program "School buses" - 900 million hryvnias, construction of football fields
- 370 million hryvnias, subvention
for social and economic development
- 5 billion hryvnias. You possess resources on the ground,
thereby everything is in your
own hands. At the regional
level, you need to clearly
identify how the funds will
be allocated and to which
projects. The timely putting of objects into
operation is your personal responsibility,"
underscored the Vice Prime Minister,
appealing to the heads of
RSAs.
Hennadii Zubko informed
that 4.900 regional projects were implemented
at the expense
of the state
funding over the period from
2015 to 2017. "The development of a network of primary
health care in the countryside,
a new educational system, as well
as libraries and inclusive resource
centers, CASPs, citizens' security centers, kindergartens, and infrastructure projects are among
ambitious projects. And we have
to accelerate its implementation. Once again I want
to place a special emphasis on the fact that introduction of
much-needed projects in the regions,
first and foremost, is a change of the
quality of life of Ukrainians",
stressed the Vice Prime Minister.
