Sanctions against Russia have to be maintained until the territorial integrity of Ukraine is restored

This and other issues were discussed on January 30, 2018 at the public event in the UK Parliament called “Why Ukraine’s future will determine Europe’s future”.

The esteemed speakers were Dr Volodymyr Ogryzko, former Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, CEO of the Centre for Russian Studies, and The Rt Hon Sir Malcolm Rifkind KCMG QC, the UK leading foreign and defence policy expert, former Foreign Secretary and Secretary of State for Defence.

The public event was organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom and the British Ukrainian Society. It was attended by members of the House of Commons and Lords, leading British experts and representatives of the Ukrainian community.

During the visit to London, Dr. Volodymyr Ogryzko also held “round table” discussions at The Royal Institute of International Affairs “Chatham House” and The Royal United Services Institute (RUSI).
