Hennadii Zubko: Current balances of local budgets make up UAH 54.4 billion

In 2017 local budget revenues increased to UAH 192 billion, meanwhile, the balances on local budget accounts remained at the level of last year, and according to the updated data provided by the State Treasury Service of Ukraine totaled UAH 54.4 billion.

Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko told on Facebook.

"Local governments should report to their communities on the effective use of not only their own incomes in 2017, but also funds received in the shape of state support – from the State Regional Development Fund, subventions for the development of the infrastructure of consolidated communities, socio-economic development, hub schools, funds obtained as a result of "the customs experiment" being directed to major repairs of local roads, etc.", urged Hennadii Zubko.

According to him, funding transferred to local budgets should, first of all, work to improve the quality of life in communities.
