The Organization for
Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) positively assesses the results and
progress of the decentralization reform in Ukraine
and pledges to provide support
for its implementation.

Ukraine Hennadii Zubko presented the results of
the abovesaid reform to the
OECD ambassadors within the framework of
the session "Supporting decentralization in Ukraine. Assessment
and Recommendations."
"I am grateful
to the OECD member countries for their support
and assistance in pursuing the
reform. We have a steady cooperation
with the Organization in terms of obtaining
recommendations and monitoring assessment for the implementation
of not only
decentralization reform, but also other
reforms - public administration, energy efficiency. We took into account
all the OECD recommendations. Today, for the EU, the
example of Ukraine in reforming
is an example
of success. We consider this
reform to be not only Ukraine’s achievement, but it is a joint
work, a joint result and a joint
success with our partners",
stressed the Vice Prime Minister.
