  • Hennadii Zubko: Local budgets have grown up to almost UAH 121 billion over 8 months

    Financial decentralization is in effect. The general fund of local budgets in January-August 2017 has been filled with UAH 120.7 billion. The increase in revenues against the corresponding period last year amounted to 30.8% or UAH 28.4 billion. Vice Prime Minister/ Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko posted in Facebook.

    Thus, in 21 regions revenues growth rate is characterized as above the average in Ukraine.

    "Also, there has been preserved a positive tendency for the increase of revenues of budgets of 366 consolidated territorial communities. Over 8 months, they have upped to UAH 5.5 billion", told the Vice Prime Minister.

    Local budgets of 366 CC for 8 months of the current year have soared by 85.5%, or by UAH 2.5 billion. The average income showing per capita in the consolidated communities grew by UAH 816 and amounted to UAH 1,771.

    At that over the abovementioned period of 8 months 366 CCs received a subvention from the state budget for infrastructure development to the tune of UAH 826.3 million.
