Government allocates a sum worth UAH 300 million to the implementation of "warm loans" program, says Prime Minister

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, in the framework of the implementation of energy efficiency programs, approved the decision on allocation of additional funds to the tune of UAH 300 million to support a "warm loans" initiative. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced during the session of the Government.

«We provide additional funding of "warm loans” program to the tune of 300 million hryvnias. Almost 280 thousand people have already taken advantage of the opportunity (lending) to trigger insulation and modernization of residential buildings», the Head of Government asserted.

He stressed that the Government is consistently implementing an ambitious plan designed to achieve energy independence and efficient use of resources. «By 2020, we are committed to become the energy independent country, to grow the volumes of production of Ukrainian gas, to reduce energy consumption as well as to improve the quality of use», emphasized the Prime Minister.
