  • Volodymyr Groysman: Government allots UAH 2.6 billion from the Regional Development Fund for more than 760 local projects in education, healthcare, housing and utilities, and transport sectors

    The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, within the framework of financing regional development projects, has announced about the allocation from the Regional Development Fund of another tranche worth UAH 2.6 billion for over 760 projects to be implemented in education, healthcare sectors, housing and communal services and transport infrastructure. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said that during a Government’s session Wednesday, and reminded that the total budget of the Fund makes up UAH 3.5 billion.

    "This (UAH 2.6 billion) is the sum we direct for specific projects of regional development. I want to inform that out of this number (760 projects) 294 projects pertain to education, 148 - healthcare, 85 - housing and communal services, 77 - infrastructure, transport and roads. Let’s not forget about the development of culture and sports", the Head of Government stressed.
