Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman called on all political forces to put aside political flags as well as slogans and to consolidate efforts in order to adopt the pension reform, which is designed for the benefit of Ukrainian retirees. Thus, the adoption of the said reform will allow to raise retirement payments to 9 million pensioners already from October 1, and in the medium term, to ensure a deficit-free budget of the Pension Fund. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on the air of one of the TV channels on Sunday, July 9.

«This reform is awaited by the pensioners who have worked all their lives, but receive only the minimum pension today», emphasized the Head of Government, adding that it is of utmost importance to assume responsibility, regardless of political affiliation and to adopt landmark decisions.

The Prime Minister stressed that the development of a fair pension system, in case of adoption of changes, will take place for the first time and also added that it is vital to end with political slogans which have been existed for 25 years once and for all in order to build a strong and prosperous country.
