The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has no plans to increase gas prices
for consumers and statements which were made by some politicians on this issue
appeared to be misleading. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine
Volodymyr Groysman on answering journalists' questions in Ternopil
region.
In particular, commenting on the alleged Government plans to raise gas
prices from October 1 to 8500 hryvnias , Volodymyr
Groysman stressed: "I heard information that the Cabinet of Ministers
intends to allow gas price hikes to UAH 8.5. thousand.
I want to highlight that this is not corresponding to current realities. It's
an absolute a false statement".
