Volodymyr Groysman: It's time now to cease a practice of purchasing everything from everyone and selling raw materials produced in Ukraine

The time has come when Ukraine must stop purchasing goods from other countries, and only sell raw materials. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman stated during the meeting of the Regional Development Council chaired by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on Tuesday.

"It's time now to cease a practice of purchasing everything from everyone and selling raw materials produced in Ukraine", urged Volodymyr Groysman.

The Head of Government noted that compared to other countries Ukraine has poor economic development.

"With regard to the potential, it is one of the best in the world, with regard to our real performance – it is one of the worst. It’s nonsense. It means that something is wrong. We must realize that and accelerate our pace [towards change]", he said.

The Prime Minister announced that at its session that day the Government had adopted a decision on the establishment of the National Industry Development Committee.
