The Monitoring mission of the Ministry of information policy of Ukraine in ATO zone has analyzed the state of the Ukrainian broadcasting in Trokhizbenka of Luhansk region.

According to the results of the research it was revealed that the main source of information for the surroundings is a satellite TV. Part of the village, which is located on top of a slope, has an access to Ukrainian TV channels.

"It's minor part of the users of on-air broadcasting. We therefore, in the framework of the monitoring mission, have documented the problem on the spot and have transferred the data to the Commission under MIP for consideration. Installation of the transmitting equipment here will give the opportunity not only to convey a signal to government controlled villages, but also to expand the signal to the occupied territories, including the city of Slovianoserbsk, that is located in visual proximity to Trokhizbenka", reports Advisor to the Minister on ensuring TV and Radio broadcasting Oleksandr Bryhynets from ATO zone.

Chairman of military-civil administration - Lieutenant Colonel Ruslan Tkachuk is a military journalist, who perfectly understands the importance of information security and makes every effort to ensure it.

"I understand that our state cannot afford to set the transmitter for several villages now, therefore the volunteers and me are jointly working in the direction of launch of their own radio broadcasting. We have developed a system of information notification in the form of a loudspeaker in the village center. The next step is the launch of a radio. The equipment is already installed, but we need a specialist to run it, but who due to continuous of constant attacks cannot do this work", says the Chairman.

Given the situation, the Commission on ensuring stable operation of national television and radio broadcasting under MIP has already started the activity towards restoration of broadcasting in the village. Now the members of the Commission are in the process of analysis and identification of solutions to the issue.

The village of Trokhizbenka is the heart of civil-military administration today, which includes several settlements of the former Slovianoserbsk district, which is mainly occupied.
