Agricultural sector of Ukraine demonstrates a reduction in corruption and further deregulation
According to non-governmental international organization Transparency
International, the agricultural area of Ukraine demonstrates some of the best
results in terms of reducing corruption, has informed Minister of Agrarian
Policy and Food Oleksii Pavlenko
on Tuesday, October 13.
"According to Transparency International, we have one of the best
indicators in terms of reducing corruption in the agricultural sphere. The
level of corruption in the agricultural area has decreased from 0.96 to 0.69
points," noted the Minister.
In addition, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy emphasizes that the process of deregulation is actively continuing. In particular, form №2 has been canceled today. "Previously a corresponding company had to get a veterinary certificate for transportation and re-export," the Ministry explains and adds that the abolition of this form will result in significant savings of time and money for interested business.
