On July 29, the State Employment Service announced the beginning of cooperation with the educational system Brain Academy and leading IT companies of Ukraine in the framework of preparation of the temporarily unemployed in the most promising and popular IT specialities, and their further employment.

Goals and purpose of the project are set out in the Memorandum, which was signed at a press conference by Head of the State Employment Service Yaroslav Kashuba, founder of Brain Academy Ihor Zakalov, Director of Astound Commerce Dmytro Kozlovskyi, Infotek’s Director Mark Marchenko and NIX Solutions training center coordinator Victoriia Morhun.

Yaroslav Kashuba underlined that one of the most important issues for the employment service is orientation to the needs of prospective industries, including IT, and training of IT specialists should meet the highest standards. "Today, Ukraine is the country number one regarding the number of graduates of engineering specialties. Therefore, over the last eight years the volume of Ukrainian IT market has being increased faster than on the average in the world. In the next 5 years the deficit of IT specialists in Ukraine is expected to reach 100,000, and in the world – 5 million. It is important to be quick on the uptake and start training people," the Head of the State Employment Service noted.

«Brain Academy is the Ukraine's first specialized academy that prepares developers and testers of software based on international standards and requirements of Ukrainian companies. We have already conducted authorized training of specialists in the area of software testing, development of Java, .Net, Front-End. All the courses are held by certified instructors, providing the highest quality," founder of the Brain Academy Ihor Zakalov stated.

A large number of IT companies, partners of the Brain Academy, are interested in employment of quality professionals. In this regard, leading Ukrainian companies are gladly supporting the start of cooperation between the State Employment Service and the IT market. Therefore, graduates of the Brain Academy, in case of successful passage of training, will have all chances for successful employment and further IT career.

Increasing unemployment and job losses in many areas, on the one hand, and the demand for IT-specialists, on the other hand, pushed the Employment Service and Brain Academy to join their efforts and launch the project that allows people in different regions of Ukraine undergo accredited training and get a new job in the IT area.
