Government allocates UAH 1 billion to purchase housing for ATO participants and families of those soldiers who died
Prime Minister of
Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk signed a decree about the use of budget funds for the
purchase of housing for members of the antiterrorist operation and the families
of soldiers who died in the ATO.
At the Government
meeting on Wednesday, May 27, Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that a decree about
allocation of budget funds for the purchase of accommodation for the members of
the antiterrorist operation and the families of fallen soldiers will be
published today: "From this day, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of
Internal Affairs, the State Security Service and other law enforcement agencies
are eligible to receive 1 billion hryvnias for the
purchase of housing for ATO participants and for the families of those who died
during anti-terrorist operations against Russian terrorists."
He appealed to the
Ministers to urgently draw an appropriate budget program, and to the Ministry
of Finance - to provide funding.
"To purchase
housing quickly and transparently, so that by September we could ensure the
first stage," stressed Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
